October Open House | Find the elf, decorate a lantern

What do house elves and jack-o’-lanterns have in common? They’re both folk traditions, and we want to tell you more about them at our folk museum!

Hidden around Chase Home Museum are house elves that protect us.

Make your way through the museum to spot a house elf and receive your very own paper jack-o’-lantern to decorate. As you wander through the space, chat with one of our staff members to learn more about the folkloric origins of house elves and jack-o’-lanterns.

Lanterns are available while supplies last.
